Special Olympics Eternal Flame of Hope
On July 20th 2018, Special Olympics lit the Eternal Flame of Hope right outside the Birthplace of the first Special Olympics Games held in 1968. Staunton Inc was the Owners Representative working with the world renowned Sculpturist Richard Hunt, Designers Smithgroup JJR and General Contractor James McHugh Construction to deliver a beautiful iconic piece commemorating Chicago’s biggest export, the Special Olympics which is now in 172 countries including 5 million athletes.
